Dating back to the Roman Empire, goblets are an ancient form of stemware. With hammered patterns often treated with patina, inlays of precious stones and adornments of gold. The goblet has a tradition of craftsmanship.
Often friends are my muse for designing goblets. They are rich in meaning, have a layered history and share a story. Some goblets shine in their simplicity of design and brilliance of glaze, some are elaborate and adorned in satin and gold, while others are vintage, romantic or bohemian. Like their muses, each goblet has its own personality, energy and story.
