I am a Craft Nova Scotia juried artist making jewellery in fine (999), sterling (925), and reticulation (800) silver. My processes are mostly hand-work, using a torch, hammers, mallets, pliers and rolling mill, and also include soldered construction and bezel-setting. Simple drop earrings. Fine silver (999) sheet I have rolled out from ingots is patterned with a rolling mill, then folded with mallets. After reopening the fold, the earrings are gently curved on the long axis.
Ear-wires are hand-formed sterling silver (925) wire (0.8mm diameter).
