“When Alexander [the Great] was in India, he found [peacocks] in vast numbers on the banks of the river Hyarotis, and was so struck with their beauty, that he forbid any person to kill or disturb them.” – Noah Webster, The History of Animals
Peacocks are well known for their elegant beauty and stunning plumage, and this piece captures the whimsy and wonder of these beautiful birds. It is an excellent gift idea and will surely be a focal piece in any room it’s in.
