This inked fox was drawn directly onto a map of PEI (Prince Edward Island, Canada) that I found in an old Geography textbook. Some of my older customers remember from when they were in school.
This is one of the four Atlantic provinces I’ve done. New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland are now available as well. I’ve also done the Canadian provinces of BC, Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba, and Quebec. The inkwork seen is a print of my original work, all originally drawn by hand directly onto a map from a 1940’s Nova Scotia Maritimes geography textbook.
This listing is for the unframed print of this piece. All inkwork is originally done by hand directly onto the vintage book page, and then reproduced as archival quality prints in easily framed sizes of 5×7 and 8×10 Prints are high quality, and printed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, approximately 600m from my front door in the north end of the peninsula. It ships with the postal service safely in a water resistant sleeve with a cardboard board as a backer.
