Scottish stirring stick, for making porridge, soups and stews. They are meant to be gentler on the ingredients than stirring with a spoon. Made of maple, each spurtle has a unique handle design and are finished with a non-toxic varathane. They should not be put in the dishwasher but rinsed off under the tap and then dried.
All products are made of wood, and therefore are subject to some change in shape due to humidity changes. All products are finished with food-safe varathane or wax finishes. Products should not be soaked in water or cleaned in a dishwasher but wiped clean with a damp cloth.
